Our Hiring Process

Stage 1

Interview with Talent Acquisition

This first interview with a member of our Talent team will take approximately 60 minutes or less and will cover further details about the role, our business and some basic interview questions. The goal is to give you a better understanding of Propeller as a business and the impact that this position will have on our goals.

Please prepare for this interview by reviewing our website to give you a good understanding of what we do. You can also check out our Glassdoor and Instagram if you haven't already, to give you some insight to life at Propeller.
Stage 2

Interview with Hiring Manager

In this stage, you will be meeting the manager responsible for this position. The purpose of this interview is to give you a more thorough understanding of the role in practice as well as the specific work requirements from the manager and the team.

There isn't a lot you need to do in terms of preparation, however I always recommend you make sure you are familiar with Propeller and what we do. The more you understand about us, the more your role will make sense. We also recommend you to ask as many technical questions as you had on your mind as this will be a great interview to get those answered.
Stage 3

Propeller Aero Challenge

At Propeller, everyone completes a challenge as a part of the recruitment process and serves a couple of purposes. Firstly, it gives you a hand-on insight to a "day in the life" and the kinds of challenges you might tackle in this role. It also provides an opportunity to show us what you're made of and lets us see how you would approach parts of this role.

You will be provided with instructions for your challenge and any supporting material that you will need to review prior to the day of the challenge. This session will usually be run by a few members of your team and you will drive this session with our team asking you questions throughout the process.
Stage 4

The Final Interview

A final interview is a behaviour style interview which will deep dive into your previous experience. It will start with your educational experiences and run through to your most recent role. You can expect questions around what you enjoyed about each role, your experiences with leadership and even hypothetical situational questions.

There isn't anything that you need to prepare, we just advise to get comfortable as this interview will run for approximately 90 minutes and the interviewer will run you through the proceedings on the day.
